DANNY WILSON and DaMarcus Beasley have both been added to the Rangers starting line-up for today's home SPL clash with St Mirren.

As expected, Madjid Bougherra is ruled out of the game after he suffered a hamstring strain in last week's rousing 1-0 derby win over Celtic.

He missed Algeria's 3-0 friendly defeat to Serbia in midweek as a result and after receiving treatment at Murray Park yesterday, he has not been risked.

Instead, Gers are hopeful Bougherra will be fit for Tuesday's trip to play Kilmarnock at Rugby Park and Wilson deputises for him in the meantime.

Beasley also features in place of Kyle Lafferty - who drops out of the pool altogether - after his impressive showing for the USA on Wednesday.

The winger set up the away side's consolation goal in a 2-1 defeat to Holland in Amsterdam and is rewarded with another game this afternoon.

There is no place for Mo Edu in the first XI, despite his winner in the Old Firm clash six days ago.

Lee McCulloch has recovered from the ankle injury that forced him out of that game and takes his place in the centre of the park beside the man who injured him, Kevin Thomson.

The introduction of Wilson does mean there is an experienced look to the substitutes' bench.

As well as Edu and goalkeeper Neil Alexander, Nacho Novo, Steven Naismith and Kirk Broadfoot are all potential replacements with youngsters John Fleck and Andrew Little.
