UGO EHIOGU became the third new face at Ibrox in January 2007 when he followed Andy Webster and David Weir in to the club.
The former Middlesbrough defender, who made more than 150 appearances for the Teesside club, completed an 18-month deal with Walter Smith's side.
Boro were happy to let the former England defender leave on a free transfer after six years of loyal service.
Ehiogu began his career with West Brom in 1989 before moving to Aston Villa two years later.
There he made more than 250 appearances and won the League Cup before being transferred to Boro in November 2000 for £8m, a club record at that time, helping them to a Carling Cup success in 2004.
He spent a month on loan at Leeds United before completing his move to Ibrox.
Ugo quickly became a hero to the Gers fans by netting a sensational overhead kick winner against Celtic on March 11 and his powerful defensive qualities add strength to Walter Smith's backline.
