Travelling to Ibrox
Ibrox Stadium is one of the most accessible grounds in European football, with first class public transport, road and airport links.
Strathclyde Police, in consultation with Rangers Football Club, is advising football fans and supporters associations to take the following routes if travelling via the M8 and M74 (westbound) to home games at Ibrox Stadium for the 2012/13 season.
As the M8, travelling west from the Kingston Bridge, no longer allows vehicular traffic to take the off ramp at Junction 23 (Dumbreck Road), traffic must now exit at either Junction 24 (Helen Street), Junction 25 (Cardonald) or Junction 26 (Hillington). Drivers are encouraged to check local maps to plan an alternative route to Ibrox Stadium should Junction 24 be congested and tailing back onto the main carriageway.
The M74 westbound (new section of road) joins just prior to Junction 24 of the M8. Drivers of westbound vehicles travelling to Ibrox for home games are encouraged to exit at Tradeston where they can either travel onto the M77 and come off at Junction 1 (Dumbreck Road) or turn right onto Carnoustie Street and left onto Paisley Road and head to Ibrox Stadium from there.
The most convenient way to reach Ibrox Stadium is by Subway. From Ibrox subway station, the Stadium is just a short walk away. From Glasgow's city centre the Subway takes 10 to 15 minutes travelling on the Outer Circle, and just a few minutes more in the other direction on the Inner Circle. With trains arriving and departing approximately every five minutes - it is a popular choice of transport for visitors.
Bus links from Glasgow are frequent, with bus stops to all points within 300 yards of the Stadium. Visit travelinescotland.com for a detailed list of bus times from any point in Scotland.

Cameras and video cameras are allowed to be brought into the Stadium but due to copyright laws they cannot be used when players are on the pitch. This also includes the players' warm up session.
Suitcases/ Luggage storage
Small suitcases and holdalls are allowed into Stadium as long as they can fit underneath your seat without causing an obstruction to the walkway. Unfortunately there is nowhere within the Stadium to store large suitcases, this is due to security reasons. All bags are searched upon entry to the Stadium.
Aerosol sprays are NOT allowed into the Stadium, they will be confiscated upon entry. Air horns attached to aerosol cans are also NOT allowed. Perfumes can be brought into the Stadium however they will be temporarily confiscated by the steward who can store it for you and return it at the end of the match.
