Ross Perry
Scottish,
Defender

IN May 2007 Ross was included in the first-team squad that travelled to Los Angeles to face LA Galaxy having been a stand-out as he progressed through the club's ranks.

A strong, composed defender he was part of the U19 team for three years and in this time won domestic doubles in 2006/07 and 2007/08.

Having battled back from several injury problems that have hampered his development the 21-year-old spent two spells on loan with Oxford and Falkirk before emerging in Ally McCoist's first team.

He was handed his debut when he climbed from the bench at Inverness to replace the injured Kyle Bartley in August 2011.

Perry then followed that up with a European bow, again as a subsitute, this time replacing the injured Lee Wallace.

A string of consistent displays earned further international recognition at under-21 level and a new contract with the Light Blues.

Perry put pen to paper on a new four year deal early in September of 2011 as he cemented a spot in McCoist's first team squad.
