A Terrific Gesture

Written by

GENEROUS Rangers Fans Neil MacDougall and Jill Dickie contacted Rangers Fans Liaison Manager Jim Hannah on facebook with a view to buying 15 tickets for this weekend's game for the residents of Erskine's care homes.

Neil MacDougall, who is currently in New Zealand, contacted Hannah in response to a call to help sell out Saturday's SPL clash at Ibrox and he was delighted to give the tickets to Erskine's veterans.

Neil, originally from Lanarkshire, purchased 10 tickets and when Jill, from Glasgow, saw the facebook post she was so touched by his generosity that she asked if she could purchase another five for the charity.

Hannah said: "This was a great gesture on behalf of Neil and Jill and we would like to thank them for their generosity in helping not only the club but also Erskine by purchasing 15 tickets for the Hearts game."

Colin McPhail, spokesman for Erskine Hospital, also thanked Jill and Neil and assured them the tickets would be put to good use.

Remember you can still get a ticket for the match with the Edinburgh side by visiting Rangers Ticket Centre, calling 0871 702 1972 or clicking HERE now.
