Gers Youths Aid Scots' Progress

Written by

FOUR Rangers youngsters were again involved as Scotland's under-17 side moved a step closer to Euro Championship qualification today.

Liam Kelly, Ryan Sinnamon, Tom Walsh and Danny Stoney all completed the full match as the Scots drew 0-0 with Ukraine in Georgia.

That result comes on the back of the young Scots beating Luxembourg 5-2 earlier this week.

They will complete their qualifying round group against hosts Georgia on Sunday with a point enough to ensure passage to the next stage.

The top two sides at the end of the group qualify for the Elite Round play-off with the finals then set to take place in Slovakia next May.
