Holding Out For A Hero

Written by

At the Rangers Charity Foundation we are constantly amazed at the heroic feats our fans undertake in their quest to raise funds in support of our work.

They really are our heroes – and now we’re making sure that there are more ways than ever to be a part of the True Blue Heroes campaign.

The Foundation has expanded its award winning True Blue Heroes campaign to include not just personal physical challenges but also individuals who organise a special event in support of the Rangers Charity Foundation.

So if running in a marathon or skydiving from 10,000 feet is not your thing, you can still become a True Blue Hero by organising an event in aid if the Foundation.

It’s a great way to enjoy a night out with friends and help a good cause at the same time!

Events that have proved popular with our fundraisers in the past include race nights, dinner parties, coffee mornings, football tournaments, discos, quiz nights, barbeques and curry nights.

So if you have an idea for an event and want to help the Foundation and the great causes it supports, get in touch on 0141 580 8775 and we will help you in any way we can.

Supporters who raise more than £100 from such an event will automatically become a True Blue Hero and will be invited to a reception at Ibrox to receive a medal from a Rangers first team player.*

Will You be one of our heroes?

*Please note that the True Blue Heroes campaign is predominantly for individuals undertaking a challenge or organising an event in aid of the Foundation however, in cases where a substantial amount of money has been raised by more than one organiser the Foundation will endeavour to recognise their contributions.
