RANGERS boss Ally McCoist has the praised the Light Blue legions for the part they played in last night’s stunning 2-0 League Cup victory over SPL leaders Motherwell.

And the Gers legend thanked fans for their continued loyalty and commitment as 36,000 season tickets have been sold so far in 2012/13.

The manager said: “Our fans were amazing last night and once again showed their loyalty and commitment to Rangers.

“To get almost 30,000 for a League Cup tie that was live on terrestrial television was fantastic and I can’t thank them enough for their support. It was a great atmosphere and the players turned in a terrific performance that the fans deserved.

“Our fans have supported us in record numbers throughout the campaign and I can’t thank them enough.”

Rangers have sold over 36,000 season tickets so far in 2012/13 - which is a phenomenal total for a Division 3 side – with prices starting at just £258 for adults and £65 for children.

Fans who have bought individual match tickets for any league game at Ibrox this season can get the price of that ticket off their season ticket, a saving of up to £20.

Season tickets are still available throughout the stadium in the Govan Front and Rear, Copland Front and Rear, Main Stand, Club Deck and the Family Section with matchday activities for the kids.
