Ramsdens Draw Details

Written by

RANGERS will learn their Ramsdens Cup quarter-final opponents today – but it is unlikely the tie will go ahead on either of the designated dates.

The 1-0 win over Falkirk last night has taken the Light Blues into the last eight and the teams lying in wait are Arbroath, Cowdenbeath, East Stirlingshire, Partick Thistle, Queen of the South, Raith Rovers and Stenhousemuir.

The draw is taking place at Hampden at 2.30pm and we will be there to bring you the news as it happens.

The quarter-finals are scheduled for September 8 or 9 but these dates clash with the international football calendar.

It is likely that Rangers will have at least four players called up in the shape of Andy Little and Dean Shiels for Northern Ireland and youngsters Chris Hegarty and Andy Mitchell representing their under-21s.
