KENNY McDOWALL was victorious as he helped his team to victory at the Rangers Annual Corporate Golf Day this week.

The yearly event took place once again at the stunning Carrick course on the western shores of Loch Lomond on Monday in sky-splitting sunshine.

And it was the group McDowall was playing with from Care Asset Management which led the way in the stableford competition with 88 points.

Raymond Green’s team featuring Billy Dodds was second with 86 points and Taylormade Adidas Golf, accompanied by Richard Gough, were third with 83.

There were plenty of other big names involved including manager Ally McCoist, first-team coach Ian Durrant and the likes of Mark Hateley, Colin Stein and Tam Forsyth.

Also involved was Nine in a Row star Charlie Miller, who was the winner of the longest drive competition.

Steven Johnston was victorious in the Nearest the Pin contest while the best individual score went to Robert Elliot of Care Asset Management, who had 41 points.
