Let Me At Them

Written by

FRAN SANDAZA says he is ready to provide the goals to shoot Rangers to success in a frantic period of matches.

Rangers’ next four matches are in four different competitions in a period of 11 days starting with tomorrow night’s Ibrox clash against Queen of the South in the quarter-finals of the Ramsdens Cup.

The Light Blues take on Montrose in the league on Sunday, Motherwell in the League Cup on September 26 and then travel to Forres on Scottish Cup duty on September 29.

Sandaza wants to be a major part of this run of games and feels he is ready to come back into the starting line up having played over 80 minutes at the weekend.

He said: “I felt good on Saturday I didn’t have a lot of chances but my fitness was a lot better. I was quite happy with my performance. It was not a good result but it was positive for me.

“I spoke with the gaffer and he told me Ii was going the right way. I’m ready now to start. I feel I will start to score goals soon.”

First up for Rangers is Queen of the South tomorrow night and the 27-year-old insists they want to go all the way.

He said: “We take it seriously. We want to win this competition. It’s a new one for us because Rangers have never played in this competition but we want to do well in all off the competitions this year and we will go for it.

“It’s not a massive competition but we want to win it. We will take it seriously.”

Queen of the South tickets are on sale now and are priced at £15 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for kids.

Family tickets for £35 are also available (2 adults and 2 kids seated in the Family Section, not available online). Season holders are no longer guaranteed their seats, adults £13, concessions £8 and kids £3.
