The Gers youngsters scored within three minutes of each other in the 65th and 68th minutes as a twenty minute second half blitz earned the young Scots a 4-0 win over Armenia.
McKay curled home a long range strike to make it 3-0 before playing in his 18-year-old Gers team mate Macleod who wrapped up a comfortable night for the home side.
The match, at New Douglas Park in Hamilton, marked the start of three games in six days, with Romania and Switzerland still to come for Ricky Sbragia's squad.
Romania and Switzerland drew 1-1 at the Falkirk stadium meaning the Scots top the round robin group after the first day of matches.
