Friday Night Football For Gers

RANGERS are set for Friday night football next month when they travel to face Airdrie.

The clash is one of two matches to be moved for TV with the flag unveiling at Ibrox also selected for live TV broadcast.

Ally McCoist's side will now open their league campaign against Brechin City at Ibrox on Saturday 10 August at 12.45pm.

The match will be shown live by BT Sport, who have also chosen the Airdrie tie.

That game will now take place on Friday 23 August at 7.45pm, a day earlier than initially scheduled.
