BILEL MOHSNI is delighted to have secured a two year deal with Rangers after a three week spell training with the club.

The 26-year-old is now aiming to impress in those two years and prove he is worthy of a place in the Gers squad as it builds its way back to the top.

He told RangersTV: “I’m very happy to sign for Rangers. I have agreed for two years and I think it is a chance to prove that I can play in the top league and be a part of the squad.

“It would be amazing to be one of the players who help Rangers back to where Rangers belongs.”

Mohsni settled quickly and impressed Ally McCoist on pre-season tours to Brora and Germany and the defender admits his new team mates have played a huge part in that.

He added: “It’s a great squad with a great atmosphere so I’ve enjoyed it a lot because all of the players welcomed me very quickly.

“I felt like part of the squad from the first day so I’ve very happy to sign and stay with that team.

“Sometimes when you feel happy like that you play better and I felt that way from the first day so maybe that helped me decide to stay.

“I was at Southend before and the facilities were ok but when you compare it to Rangers you see that here there is everything.

“The training ground, the stadium, these are some of the reasons you want to come to a club like this.”
