Dundee Utd Await In Semis

Written by

RANGERS will face Dundee Utd in the Semi Final of the Scottish Cup if they can overcome Albion Rovers in a replay a week on Tuesday.

Rovers held Ally McCoist's side to a 1-1 draw in the Quarter Final at Ibrox today to keep their name in the hat for this afternoon's semi final draw.

The pair will now face a replay, likely to be played at New Douglas Park in Hamilton, on Tuesday March 18th for the right to face the Arabs.

With both semi finals at Ibrox, Rangers will hope to take their place at their home ground against Dundee Utd on the weekend of April 12/13.

In the other semi-final St Johnstone will face Aberdeen.

We'll have reaction to the draw and today's match soon on the club website.
