Brogan Hay Voted SWPL Player of the Month for April

RANGERS forward Brogan Hay has been voted Scottish Building Society SWPL Player of the Month for April.

The 22-year-old scored twice as her attacking threat helped Gers to four wins from five last month.

It is the second time Hay has won the award, winning previously for August and September 2019. It also means Rangers have picked up back-to-back awards with Lizzie Arnot lifting the prize in December before the league suspension.

Speaking after being presented with her award this morning, Hay said: “I was delighted to be nominated and I am really happy to have won the award, thank you to everyone who voted.

“It is credit to the staff and my teammates, they have given me so much confidence with their belief in me and that helps me grow as a player. It helps me perform to my best on the pitch because I know that my teammates really believe in me, so I am really happy to win the award.”

On top of winning the public vote, Hay also came out with the most votes from the Head Coaches in Scottish Building Society SWPL 1.
