RANGERS can today announce goalkeeper Kieran Wright has signed a new deal with the club until the summer of 2023.
Academy product Wright, 22, is currently on-loan at Partick Thistle and has now committed himself to the Light Blues for at least a further two years.
Rangers Goalkeeping Coach, Colin Stewart, commented: “I’m delighted for Kieran to have signed this new deal, and it is important for him to keep the head down and keep working hard to keep developing.
“I’ve been pleased to see how hard Kieran has worked with our performance department in the gym to further enhance his abilities.
“He has a great opportunity now at a good club, Partick Thistle, under a good manager in Ian McCall, and goalkeeping coach Kenny Arthur, to continue his development for the reminder of the season and show what he can do.
“Beyond that, he has two more years now at Rangers which is a fantastic opportunity for him to kick on further in his career.”
