RANGERS have a number of players out on loan across the Men’s, Women’s and Academy sides at present and here’s our review of how each of those fared over the weekend.
Ross McCausland – Winger – Aris Limassol
Ross was a second half substitute as Aris Limassol defeated Krasava ENY in league action.
The winger has featured in all bar two games since joining the Cypriot side and he will now join up with Northern Ireland on international duty.

Oscar Cortes – Winger – Sporting Gijon
Oscar made his first start for Sporting Gijon as they fell to a narrow defeat at the hands of CD Mirandes on Friday evening.
The Colombian has had to bide his time and will now hope to kick on with more regular starting berths as the season moves forward.

Ben Davies – Defender – Oxford United
Ben was an unused substitute as Oxford United tasted defeat against West Brom away from home.
The English Championship side are next in action after the international break when they host Middlesbrough.

Mason Munn – Goalkeeper – Dunfermline Athletic
Mason was on the substitutes bench for Dunfermline as they battled to a 2-2 draw against St. Johnstone.
It was a welcome point for the Pars who will be keen to boost their bid for promotion to the top-flight when the league resumes later this month.

Leon King – Defender – Ayr United
Leon started and played the full 90 minutes for Ayr United in their thrilling 3-3 draw with Ross County in Dingwall.
The defender has been a mainstay in the side’s defence since he joined on loan, playing alongside the experience of Kevin Holt and Scott McMann.

Josh Gentles – Forward – Raith Rovers
Josh was a second half substitute for Raith in their away defeat to Queen’s Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Kirkcaldy side hadn’t long went behind when the young forward was introduced, with Josh also featuring for Rangers Under-19s in league action last midweek.

Paul Nsio – Midfielder – Raith Rovers
Paul, meanwhile, made his second successive start for the Scottish Championship side.
The 19-year-old midfielder made his debut for the club just last week and was entrusted to marshal the midfield for the second game running.

Zander Hutton – Defender – Hamilton Academical
Zander started and helped Hamilton to another clean sheet as they ran riot against Peterhead on Saturday afternoon.
The full-back has been in dazzling form for the League One outfit this season, helping the side to a fourth clean sheet since his arrival.

Jack Wyllie – Defender – Kelty Hearts
Jack started for Kelty as they played out a 2-2 draw with Stenhousemuir at the weekend.
The 18-year-old featured in the heart of defence as Kelty allowed a two-goal lead to slip through their fingertips.

Calum Adamson – Midfielder – Alloa Athletic
Calum started and drove Alloa on from midfield in the side’s 4-0 away victory over Montrose.
The teenager performed impressively as the Wasps jumped up to second in the League One table.

Lewis Stewart – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Lewis, in the meantime, came off the bench to score his first goal for Alloa in the triumph.
It was a smart finish from the winger who added the fourth of the afternoon, rounding the Montrose goalkeeper before finishing from an acute angle.

Callum Burnside – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Callum netted his first goal for Alloa with a diving header in the victory.
The 18-year-old winger doubled his side’s advantage and earned his second successive Man of the Match award following another terrific display.

Connor Campbell – Defender – Stirling Albion
Connor, meanwhile, was an unused substitute for Stirling Albion in the league defeat.
The defender is still waiting to make his debut for the League Two outfit as they square off against Peterhead this evening.
Lyle Wark – Defender – Forfar Athletic
Lyle made his second successive league start for Forfar as they played out a 1-1 draw with Spartans.
Operating on the left-hand side of midfield, it was a third start in a row for the 18-year-old who has stamped his place in the Forfar side.

Cormac Christie – Forward – Forfar Athletic
Cormac, meanwhile, was a second half substitute for the side.
The young forward has featured prominently since making the switch as he looks to gain valuable experience featuring in senior football this season.

Alfie Halliwell – Goalkeeper – Albion Rovers
Alfie featured twice for Albion Rovers over the last week.
The young goalkeeper started between the posts against Linlithgow Rose in midweek before squaring off against Celtic B at the weekend.

Blaine McClure – Midfielder – Nottingham Forest
Blaine was a second half substitute for Nottingham Forest Under-21s as they triumphed over Leeds United.
The midfielder was on the pitch for just ten minutes before Forest struck the winning goal in a 2-1 win.

Sophie Rutherford – Winger- Queen’s Park
Sophie was the only women’s loanee in action over the weekend with her Queen’s Park team taking part in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals, with the winger in the starting lineup.
The Spiders dropped out of the competition with a heavy defeat at the last eight stage and will now turn their attentions back to league action this weekend when they take on Livingston in SPWPL 2.
