RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that Lizzie Arnot has signed a contract extension with the club.
The Scotland international was vital to Rangers’ historic title winning season with 26 goals and 21 assists in 31 appearances across all competitions.
Speaking to RangersTV after signing her contract extension, Arnot said: “I am really grateful and really pleased that I can extend my stay here. I have loved the two years that I have been here, we have had different challenges along the way but it is a great club to be part of.
“I can play here with freedom and enjoyment and obviously that is credit to the girls as well. The style of play is great and it really suits my style. I love being here and the fact I can contribute with goals and assists is even better.”
Head coach Malky Thomson added: “I am really delighted that Lizzie has signed a contract extension with the club. She is a huge part of our squad and made a massive contribution last season.
“As we head into a new and exciting 2022/23 campaign, which includes UEFA Women’s Champions League football for the first time, Lizzie’s experience will be vital as we continue to push the squad.”
