RANGERS forward Lizzie Arnot has been voted SWPL Player of the Month for December.
The 24-year-old played a key role in the Gers two matches in December, scoring four goals for the club.
Arnot netted her first hat-trick in the 9-0 win over Motherwell, before also getting on the scoresheet in the 5-0 victory against Glasgow City as Rangers ended the first part of the season on a high.
Speaking to RangersTV after receiving the award she said: “I was really pleased to have been nominated but it’s an amazing feeling to have won this award. To be recognised by the public and Head Coaches in the league is a huge honour.
“You just go about every day trying to be the best in training and on the pitch so it is nice when it is recognised but it is just important that I am helping the team in any way possible and to get an award is a bonus.
“I am loving being part of the squad, everyone sets really high standards and to be part of a group where we have all got the same ambition is great.”
