MIKEY MOORE believes Rangers have helped him become a man on and off the park.
The winger joined the club in the summer on loan from English Premier League side Tottenham.
The England Under-19 international has made 25 appearances for the Light Blues, scoring three times, including in last Saturday’s 3-1 win over Celtic at Parkhead.
Moore is loving life at Ibrox and believes the pressure of playing for the Gers will stand him in good stead for the rest of his career.
Speaking to the media to preview tomorrow’s game with Aberdeen, he said: “It’s been nice to play consistently and get into a rhythm.
“It is a different challenge here, physically and mentally, it has developed me loads. The standard of football is high.
“Teams are physical and make it hard for you. I have had to improve technically and physically, as well as the mental side.
“I am aiming to be the best I can, and if I don’t have the belief to be one of the best players in the world, what is the point?
“I have a long way to go to get to that level, so game by game, I am improving as a person and a player, but that is one of my goals.
“To be the best in the world, you have to deal with huge pressure and up here, for a first loan, you can’t get a much better taste of that.
“There were so many parts of the club I wanted to experience, and that pressure and the demand to perform and to win every game is something I wanted.
“It is nice to be up there in the league, and that is our aim.
“If we lose a few games, we are out of it again, so for us, we are trying to close the gap as we aren’t happy where we are.
“We have done well to close the gap, but we want to be top of the league, not second.
“As a group, we have the belief to go and do something now. A few months ago, we were lower down the league; now we are in a good position to attack the last part of the season.”
The 18-year-old fired home the third goal in the Old Firm clash after Youssef Chermiti’s double had put Danny Röhl’s men 2-1 up.
Moore admits he lost control as he sprinted towards the delighted Rangers supporters in the away end and he insists it is a moment he will never forget.
He also praised gaffer Röhl as the squad look to make it back-to-back victories over the Dons in tomorrow’s Pittodrie clash.
He added: “It was a special week, with the Celtic game and beating Aberdeen, so it couldn’t have been any better.
“When I came here I dreamed of scoring in a game like that. You could tell from my celebrations.
“Before the game people said imagine if I scored and how it would feel, I made the most of it and I enjoyed it with the fans, it was a special feeling.
“The gaffer has given confidence to the boys, he has a real positive energy and you can see on the pitch we are playing more freely and taking it game by game.
“We are enjoying it, and the gaffer has been unbelievable since he came in.”
