RANGERS International Soccer Academy can today announce a new three-year agreement with Ignite Soccer, in Canada.
Based in Nova Scotia, the youth club founded in 2021 helps players, teams and clubs reach their training goals and has been invested in the local football community in the area for the last three years.
The agreement will see Rangers Soccer Academy staff and coaches work closely with the club to assist with player development and deliver training camps following recent announcements in the past months for the Soccer Academy team as they add yet another club to their portfolio in North America.
Gary Gibson, Head of Soccer Academies and International Relations at Rangers commented: “Following positive discussions with Adrian after the Rangers Coaches Convention, we are delighted to be entering a three-year agreement with Ignite Soccer, based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
“Our coaching staff will head across to deliver a camp event in September. We will then welcome teams across to Scotland in the coming years and create excellent experiences for their players and coaching staff who will also get access to the Rangers Online Academy.
Adrian Oncel, Ignite Technical Director, added: “We are absolutely delighted to enter into a three-year agreement with Rangers International Soccer Academy.
“We have big ambitions to grow Ignite Soccer, but we need the knowledge to facilitate it and working with Rangers International Soccer Academy we will be able to make this possible, there’s a positive outlook for the years ahead.
“It is a fantastic achievement to be able to elevate our club, our training standards and create amazing opportunities for our players and coaches”.
