GOAL hero Abdallah Sima insists he just loves scoring at Ibrox after notching in the 4-0 win over Livingston.
The attacker opened the scoring as the Gers booked a Viaplay Cup semi-final place against Hearts in November at Hampden.
Sima curled home inside ten minutes before Ridvan Yilmaz scored a stunning solo goal to double the lead on 66 minutes.
The Senegal international was involved in the third as his shot hit off Luiyi de Lucas on the way into the net, before Ryan Jack completed the rout in stoppage time.
Sima has grabbed all four of his goals at home and he is desperate to keep adding to his tally.
He said: “I really enjoy scoring goals and I think we needed this type of performance. It is always nice to score at Ibrox.
“We were talking before the game about that type of play. The manager told me to run in behind and I was lucky the ball came to me and I was so happy to score.
“We kept pushing to add more goals and I wanted more goals too for my own confidence.
“I kept working hard and I want to keep scoring goals to help the team.
“All of the team enjoyed the Livingston game and we wanted to play really well and win this game. We put in a top performance.”
The victory over the Lions made it four straight wins and four clean sheets in 11 days for Michael Beale’s side.
The semi-final draw was made after the game at Ibrox with the Light Blues paired against Hearts, while Hibs will play this Saturday’s opponents Aberdeen on the weekend of November 4 or 5.
Sima is looking forward to his first taste of the national stadium but insists they have to put a trip to Hampden out of their minds and just focus on the Dons.
Speaking to Rangers TV, he added: “Getting to the semi-final was a big incentive for us and every game for us is so important.
“For us to get to a semi-final is great but we have to work hard before then and just focus on the next game.”
