What’s On In July: Rangers Key Fixtures and Preparations

A NEW ERA at Rangers will officially get underway this weekend as the team are back on the pitch ahead of the 2025-26 season beginning and you can be right at the heart of it.

Under a new Head Coach and ownership, Russell Martin will take charge of his side for the first time as preparations for the team ramp up ahead of the Gers’ return to competitive action later this month.

The fans are a huge part of what the team wants to achieve this campaign and it all begins this Sunday, with the opportunity to see new players in action and how things are shaping up as the pre-season friendlies commence.

Here’s what games supporters have to look forward to in your three chances to see the team grace the iconic Ibrox pitch ahead of the new league season, including an important Champions League qualifier.

  

   

Martin will be in charge for the first time as Belgian side Club Brugge are the visitors on Sunday 6 July, kicking off at 14:00. Tickets are now on general sale for fans which can be purchased here, priced at £18 for adults, £10 for concessions with juniors able to attend for £5.

The ticket office at the stadium will be open on Thursday and Friday this week from 10am to 4pm, and also on Saturday from 10am to 12 noon, and will remain open until kick-off on matchday.

Preparations then continue for the team in an intensive training camp at the impressive St. George’s Park south of the border. The competitive action returns for the Gers when they host Greek side Panathinaikos in the UEFA Champions League second round qualifying first leg at Ibrox on Tuesday, 22 July at 19:45.

Competing in the elite level of European football is key to what the team want to achieve this coming season and the team needs your support. You can be the difference as Martin’s men look to take a crucial advantage to Greece ahead of the return leg.

Season ticket holders will be able to purchase their own seat up until 9am on Monday 7 July, with season ticket holders whose seat is affected as a UEFA seat move priority sales window from 12 noon on Monday 7 July until 9am Thursday 10 July.

MyGers and RSC sale will be at 10am Thursday 10 July, and general sale will commence from 10am on Tuesday 15 July. An adult ticket is priced at £30, concessions £23 and juniors £15.

Rangers will then round off their pre-season schedule with the visit of Middlesbrough on Saturday 27 July, kicking off at 14:00, exactly seven days before the start of the new Scottish Premiership season.

Similarly, season ticket holders can buy their seat until 9am on Wednesday 2 July, whilst season ticket holders in the Broomloan Stand affected by away support ticket allocation priority sales window will be from 12 noon on Wednesday 2 July until 9am on Monday 7 July.

MyGers and RSC sale will begin from 10am on Monday 7 July, general sale begins four days later on Thursday 14 July at 10am. Pricing sees adults being able to attend for £20, concessions £15 and juniors for £10.
