DANNY Röhl says it will take a team effort from the squad, staff, board and supporters if Rangers want to taste success this season.
The head coach was speaking after a 4-2 victory at home against Dundee United in the final home game before the split as he praised his side for delivering another crucial Scottish Premiership victory.
He said: “Three wins in a row is important, we are growing as a group, and there is a reason why we have a lot of wins together. We need the full squad, you see, with Tuur [Rommens] out, and Ryan [Naderi] now has a small injury, hopefully not too serious, but then the next person has to step up.
“It is all about the team, and the team doesn’t only mean the players; it means the staff, the coaches, the fans, the board, and if we do this as a team, then we can achieve something really special this season.”
On the 90 minutes, Röhl continued: “It was exactly what we expected from this game and an opponent who has some threats up front, they are organised and hard to break down.
“Four goals are always nice, but two conceded is not what I like, but in general, I am proud. I know after the international break, you need a little bit of time to come into it, but there’s no time; we have to deliver.
“We delivered on the result, and I think in some phases of the game we played nice football, really enjoyable, but in some parts, we have to improve.”
With competition high in the squad, the head coach had some tough decisions on his selection, but says he has a strong group and a great environment.
He added: “In general, it is not easy for the players. I said this today before the game to them. We trained yesterday, and we had two starting XI's on both sides. Both can start, and you can trust them, but you have to deliver on a matchday, and it helps when all of the other players are also hungry and humble to bring the game home.
“I think in some moments it was not easy for the players today, because I had some thoughts to change, and then there was an injury, and I had to change again in a different way.
“This is sometimes not easy for players to understand, but it is all about the team, and this is what we need. We have six games to go, we have a strong group, we have a great environment, and I think the atmosphere in the stadium was really enjoyable as well.”
