DEREK McInnes says another big performance is required from his Rangers side as they prepare for a second Old Firm encounter in seven days.
The Gers will make the trip across Glasgow on this occasion as they look to replicate a performance similar to the one which delivered a 3-0 victory in Premier Sports Cup action last weekend at Ibrox.
Speaking to the media ahead of Sunday's clash, the manager commented: "There's a positivity and feel-good factor among the fanbase and certainly among everyone within the club.
"It was an important win for us, and I think it was pleasing in the manner that we won.
"I think we're getting a semblance of consistency and good performance levels.
"We managed to score at good times, which we haven't been doing even though we've been getting wins.
"It was a cup tie last week, and it was just about getting through.
"It's been a good week, and we've been pleased with the preparation, and we're going to require a big performance again on Sunday.
"You don't win at Parkhead unless everyone plays well, so we need to bring something similar and look for those improvements again."
The victory last weekend made it five successive wins in all competitions for the Gers.
Although a derby away from home brings its own challenges, they travel to the east end of the city with momentum on their side.
Indeed, there is a camaraderie building within the dressing room, which was illustrated midweek when several players were spotted enjoying a coffee together in the city after training.
McInnes added: "I just like my players to be around each other.
"The longer they can be around each other, the better.
"You need to feel like a family and brothers in there. It's so difficult to achieve anything on your own, but together you can create a lot.
"It's about trying to create a competitive environment and one that we're here to improve and never accept bad practice.
"We're all at Rangers to achieve something. We're all in the same boat, and it's that shared responsibility to be as strong as we can."
