Ivor Pandur says the Rangers team have the belief they can produce another positive Old Firm performance.
Fresh off the back of booking their place in the Premier Sports Cup semis in the first meeting between the teams this season, the Gers head to Parkhead looking to claim the points in the first league encounter of the campaign before the international break.
Speaking to the media ahead of the meeting at noon tomorrow, he commented: “Yes, we are confident; we did a really good job.
“We just want to repeat the same; obviously we have had a week to prepare, to see what we can improve and do better, but the performance was good, and we just want to do the same.
“I was really grateful that I could experience that.
“It is different; it is their stadium, their fans, but it is still a game of football.
“We know they will see what they did wrong, and they'll try to improve.
“They’ll try and do things better, and we need to be ready for it, and that's why we put in the work.
“We just need to think about ourselves and do our best and see where that takes us.”
The goalkeeper believes the team are continuing to gel week on week, as new signings like himself adapt to life in their new surroundings in Glasgow.
He continued: “We feel good togetherness; everybody knows what they need to do and I think there is nobody who is a bad guy.
“The togetherness is really strong, and hopefully we can show that.
“It helps 100 per cent. I think in the beginning we still didn't know each other; there were a lot of new players, me included, so it takes some time for everybody to fit in. Into the system and the way we play, so hopefully now everybody knows what they are doing, and it will be much better.
“I like it here; my friends, my family and my mrs come all the time; they like it and enjoy it.
“Most of the time there is always somebody with me, but also we have spent a lot of time with each other outside, so there is never a moment where you are bored.
“There is so much to do, and the city is good, so I am happy.
“We enjoy training, the matches, and we enjoy playing in front of our fans, and we enjoy playing away. Everything is starting to click, and when you feel good outside you probably feel good here.”
The Croatian is hopeful of making his own impact on the fixture like many famous Rangers goalkeepers have over the years, as he paid tribute to the help his new goalkeeping coach, Allan McGregor, has given him in the early parts of his time in blue.
He added: “Allan is really good. I think I am really lucky that I came here and to have him as a coach. He can give me some advice or experiences that he had playing for this club.
“He has been through it all, so I always have somebody to ask if there is something I want to know or don’t understand.
“I would love it, and I will for sure give my best to help the team and do everything that is needed for me to do.
“The only thing I can control is to give my best and support my teammates in any way possible.
“It is big; every game for us is. We obviously know the games against Celtic you have the most to win and the most to lose, but every game for us is really important because it is three points.
“Even against St Mirren or Motherwell that we played, they were tough games; we managed to win.
“The same way we want to win, we will give our best.
“Everybody is here to win trophies; we know that. That is our goal, our ambition, so we will do everything that we can.”
