RANGERS have a number of players out on loan across the Men’s, Women’s and Academy sides at present and here’s our review of how each of those fared over the weekend.
Ben Davies – Defender – Oxford United
Ben started and made his Oxford United debut in their 2-2 draw at home to Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.
The defender will hope to become a mainstay in the side this campaign after a positive season helping Birmingham City to promotion last year.

Jose Cifuentes – Midfielder – Toronto FC
Jose started and played 78 minutes as Toronto played out a 1-1 draw with New England Revolution.
It was a second outing for the Ecuadorian in his side’s MLS campaign as they travel to face Columbus Crew next time out.

Oscar Cortes – Winger – Sporting Gijon
Oscar was a second half substitute as Sporting Gijon were edged out by Burgos CF in league action.
In doing so, the Colombian marked his debut for the Spanish outfit as they look to launch a promotion bid this campaign.

Mason Munn – Goalkeeper – Dunfermline Athletic
Mason made his fifth successive start for the Pars as they returned to winning ways with an emphatic 5-0 victory away to Arbroath.
It was a third clean sheet in five outings for the Northern Irish goalkeeper who has made a strong impression since joining the Scottish Championship outfit on loan.

Josh Gentles – Forward – Raith Rovers
Josh was an unused substitute for Raith as they were defeated at home by league leaders St. Johnstone.
The forward represented Wales Under-19s on international duty earlier this month after joining the Kirkcaldy outfit as part of the club’s co-operation agreement.
Paul Nsio – Midfielder – Raith Rovers
Paul, meanwhile, has joined Josh at Stark’s Park and was part of the squad for Saturday’s clash against St. Johnstone.
The midfielder will be hungry to impress under Barry Robson as Raith Rovers look to get back to winning ways this weekend.
Zander Hutton – Defender – Hamilton Academical
Zander started and played the full 90 minutes as Hamilton battled to a 2-2 draw away to Peterhead on Saturday afternoon.
It marked a second successive appearance for the 19-year-old since joining the Lanarkshire side on loan as he looks to gain valuable experience in League One.

Jack Wyllie - Defender - Kelty Hearts
Jack started and played the full 90 minutes for Kelty in their 1-0 defeat to Stenhousemuir.
The defender has featured for both his loan side and the Under-19s in their KDM Evolution Trophy campaign this season, impressing in both a central defensive and full-back role.

Calum Adamson – Midfielder – Alloa Athletic
Calum was a second half substitute for the Wasps as they tasted defeat at home to Montrose.
The 18-year-old midfielder made the loan switch to the League One outfit last month and will be keen to play a starring role in their push for promotion.

Lewis Stewart – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Lewis joined Calum in making the switch to Alloa as part of the club’s co-operation agreement with the League One side last week.
The teenager was part of the squad for Saturday’s home clash and will hope to make his first appearance when the Wasps host Cove Rangers this weekend.
Chris Eadie – Forward – Stirling Albion
Chris was a second-half substitute for Stirling Albion as they fell to defeat at the hands of Elgin City.
The teenager played the final 21 minutes after joining the Binos as part of the loan co-operation agreement.

Connor Campbell – Defender – Stirling Albion
Connor joined Chris in arriving at Stirling Albion on Friday afternoon but was not part of the Binos squad for the trip to the Highlands.
The defender has impressed at Under-19 level this season and will hope to make his mark in League Two in his first spell in senior football.
Sophie Black – Midfielder- Motherwell
Sophie was introduced as a 67th minute substitute as Motherwell fell to a 3-0 league defeat to Hearts in the capital.
The youngster enjoyed a successful spell at the SWPL club in the last campaign and will be hopeful of regular gametime throughout for Paul Brownlie’s side in the top-flight.

Lily Boyce – Midfielder- Motherwell
Lily wasn’t involved in the matchday squad for the second match running due to international commitments at youth level as last season’s sixth place finishers fell to defeat against the Edinburgh side.
Having spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at Queen’s Park, the midfielder will be hopeful of further involvement for her new club in the outings to come upon her return from Scotland Under-17’s duty.

Sophie Townsley – Striker – Hamilton
Sophie featured for the entirety of the contest as Hamilton put up a strong fight against last season’s runners-up in league action over the weekend.
The Accies ultimately fell to a 1-0 defeat to Glasgow City, but showed real resolve throughout as they fight for survival this season.

Natalie Bandura – Striker- Spartans
Natalie was rewarded for her fine start to the season in Scotland’s second tier by being named SWPL 2 Player of the Month for August before her side’s league clash with Boroughmuir Thistle.
The capital club played out a goalless draw on their return to action where they currently sit in second place in the battle for promotion.

CaCee McKenna – Defender - Spartans
CaCee was back in the starting lineup as she helped her side to a clean sheet as they continued their unbeaten start to the season.
Having suffered relegation in the last campaign, Spartans will be keen to bounce back to the top tier at the first time of asking.

Sophie Rutherford – Winger- Queen’s Park
The winger continued her run in the Queen’s Park side as they claimed a third straight victory in league action.
Indeed, the Spiders were 2-0 victors over Gartcairn at Ochilview Park as they too will be keen on returning to the top-flight for next season.

Lucy Livie – Winger- Boroughmuir Thistle
Lucy was part of the Boroughmuir squad that played out a goalless draw with Spartans in SWPL 2 over the weekend.
The youngster will be keen on getting regular minutes under her belt throughout 25/26 during the first loan spell of her career.

Rebecca Simpson – Defender- Gartcairn
The defender was an unused substitute for the second outing running as Gartcairn returned to league action but fell to a 2-0 away defeat to Queen’s Park.
It’s looking like a highly competitive second division in Scotland, with her side now sitting in sixth place.

Alba Stewart – Midfielder- Gartcairn
Alba was introduced from the substitutes bench once again in her sides defeat having progressed to the next round of the Sky Sports Cup in their last outing.
They will be looking to bounce back this weekend when they make the trip to take on Livingston.
