RANGERS have a number of players out on loan across the Men’s, Women’s and Academy sides at present and here’s our review of how each of those fared over the weekend.
Ross McCausland – Winger – Aris Limassol
Ross was an unused substitute as Aris returned to winning ways in league action with a 3-1 success over Akritas Chlorakas on Friday.
The winger has featured regularly since his move to Cyprus, and will hope to return to pitch in their next outing this weekend.

Oscar Cortes – Winger – Sporting Gijon
Oscar’s side were in action twice over the past week as they featured in both the Copa Del Rey and continued their respective league campaign.
The Colombian helped his club progress in the Spanish Cup with a 1-0 success over Caudal on Wednesday, before he was an unused substitute in the team’s goalless draw with Las Palmas at the weekend.

Ben Davies – Defender – Oxford United
Ben was an unused substitute in Oxford’s 2-2 draw with Millwall over the weekend.
They are back in action later this evening, with the defender hopeful of adding to his limited game time so far this season.

Mason Munn – Goalkeeper – Dunfermline Athletic
The shot stopper was on the bench for Dunfermline as they claimed a priceless one-goal victory over Ayr United at Somerset Park on Friday night.
His side currently occupy fourth place in the Championship standings, as they look to put up a fight in the push for promotion this campaign.

Leon King – Defender – Ayr United
Leon started and played the full 90 minutes for Ayr United as they fell to a home defeat against his fellow clubmates’ side.
The defender has now enjoyed a run of games in the Honest Men’s defence, as they target a return to winning ways when they face Ross County this Saturday.

Josh Gentles – Forward – Raith Rovers
Josh came off the bench for the final minute in Raith’s 1-1 home draw with Morton at Stark’s Park.
The young forward will look to add his appearances in the coming weeks, with his team next in action away at Queen’s Park.

Paul Nsio – Midfielder – Raith Rovers
Paul, meanwhile, made his debut for his side in the draw at the weekend.
The 19-year-old midfielder joined the side on a season-long loan in September and will hope to add to his first minutes in the weeks to come.

Zander Hutton – Defender – Hamilton Academical
Zander started and played the full game for Hamilton as his team played out a 1-1 draw with East Fife over the weekend.
His side sit in seventh place in League One as they look to mount a fight towards the play-off places and push for a return to the Championship.

Jack Wyllie – Defender – Kelty Hearts
Jack was an unused substitute for the second match running as Kelty fell to a 3-0 defeat to Alloa Athletic.
The defender is closing in on double-digit appearances for the League One side, who have benefitted from his arrival.

Calum Adamson – Midfielder – Alloa Athletic
It was an impressive afternoon’s work for Calum in the same outing, however, as he got off the mark for his new club by grabbing the second goal of the game.
He also grabbed an assist in the win, with the midfielder looking to make a strong impression in League One during the first loan spell of his career.

Lewis Stewart – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Lewis, in the meantime, earned minutes off the bench for the Wasps.
The winger made his debut for the side against Cove Rangers in September and has recently been involved with Rangers Under-19s in their respective league campaign.

Callum Burnside – Winger – Alloa Athletic
Callum made his fifth appearance and second start in succession for Alloa in the victory.
The teenager also grabbed a second assist for his new team, who now sit third in the League One table.

Chris Eadie – Forward – Stirling Albion
Chris wasn’t involved in the squad as Stirling Albion were beaten by Edinburgh City in Scottish League Two.
The forward has made an impressive start since his switch to the Binos, and will look to continue that when he makes his return.

Connor Campbell – Defender – Stirling Albion
Connor, meanwhile, was an unused substitute for Stirling Albion in the league defeat.
The defender is still waiting to make his debut for the League Two outfit as he hopes to taste senior football for the first time in the coming weeks.
Arran Kerr – Defender – Stirling Albion
Arran was also on the bench for the Binos in the defeat against the capital club
The youngster is yet to make his first senior appearance but has been involved in Rangers Under-19’s league campaign outings this season.
Lyle Wark – Defender – Forfar Athletic
Lyle started and featured for 68 minutes as Forfar fell to a league defeat against Stranraer over the weekend.
It was a second start for the teenager who operated in an advanced role on the left-hand side.

Cormac Christie – Forward – Forfar Athletic
Cormac, meanwhile, wasn’t involved in the squad in the defeat.
The young forward has featured on occasion since making the switch, as he looks to gain valuable experience featuring in senior football for the first time this season.

Alfie Halliwell – Goalkeeper – Albion Rovers
Alfie’s Albion Rovers weren’t in action over the weekend with their match off due to a waterlogged pitch.
They are back in action this evening, as they take on Linlithgow Rose in the Lowland League.

Blaine McClure – Midfielder – Nottingham Forest
Blaine was a late substitute for Nottingham Forest as they claimed a Premier League 2 victory over Sunderland yesterday.
The midfielder played the final 18 minutes in a 2-0 win for his side.

Sophie Black – Midfielder- Motherwell
Sophie was in the Motherwell starting side and featured for 83 minutes as they played out a 1-1 draw with Montrose at Links Park.
The youngster has enjoyed regular gametime for Paul Brownlie’s side this season so far, linking back up with the fellow SPWPL club on loan for the campaign.

Lily Boyce – Midfielder- Motherwell
Lily, meanwhile, also started the fixture and featured for its entirety.
It was the first outing since the international break for her team, who won’t be in action this coming weekend due to not being involved in the Sky Sports Cup quarter-finals.

Sophie Townsley – Striker – Hamilton
Sophie was back on the pitch for her side on Friday evening as they fell to a 3-0 home defeat in league action.
The striker, who is enduring her second loan spell with the Accies, recently represented Scotland at Under-19’s level during the most recent break.

Natalie Bandura – Striker- Spartans
It was a highly productive return to action for Natalie and Spartans as they claimed a 5-0 win over Livingston in SPWPL 2 on Sunday.
The striker, who has enjoyed an impressive spell so far in Scotland’s second tier, added another goal and her first assist for the club in the victory in Edinburgh.

CaCee McKenna – Defender – Spartans
CaCee, however, was not involved in the matchday squad during the convincing victory in the capital.
She will be hopeful of gametime in the outings to come, with a trip to face Dundee United up next for her team.

Lucy made an appearance from the substitutes bench as Boroughmuir played out a 1-1 draw with Queen’s Park over the weekend.

Mia McArthur – Midfielder – Gartcairn
Mia continued her run in the Gartcairn side as they were beaten 3-1 by league leaders Kilmarnock upon their return to action.
It has been a mixed start to the campaign for the Airdrie club, with the youngster a mainstay in the team, starting all their matches so far in 25/26.

Rebecca Simpson – Defender- Gartcairn
Rebecca was also in the starting lineup for her loan club as they fell to defeat in Perth.
They dropped to sixth place in the standings as a result, as they target a positive run to change their fortunes in the weeks to come.

Alba Stewart – Midfielder- Gartcairn
Alba, meanwhile, made an appearance from the substitutes bench for the clash in Scotland’s second tier on Sunday afternoon.
Her side are next in action when they head to take on Stirling University this weekend.
