LEAH EDDIE is enjoying life settling in at Rangers after her first few weeks with the club.
The defender, who rejoined the Light Blues after a brief spell in Glasgow back in 2018 at the end of May, has been getting to know her new teammates after reporting for pre-season training last month.
Speaking to the official Rangers website reflecting on her time as a Ger so far, the former Hibs player says knowing several of the side prior to joining has helped her take in her new surroundings so far.
She commented: “I have really enjoyed it. It has been good to get in and settle and meet all the girls that I didn't know and just get back on the pitch kicking a ball about and preparing for the season ahead.
“It has been really tough; I think every pre-season that you go into is going to be tough.
“But I think coming in as a new player I have really enjoyed it and that it is what pre-season is for, getting you ready for the season so it has been good.
“I feel as if everyone is really close and it really helps when you are on the pitch, having that bond between each other on and off the pitch.”
The 23-year-old says it has been good to see how new head coach Jo Potter works in the early stages so far and is excited to get on the pitch playing matches when the time comes around.
She continued: “It has been nice, going in and seeing how she sets up training and meetings and stuff.
“Things are a bit different from where I have been previously but in a good way, I have really enjoyed it and I am looking forward to preparing for games in the future.
“I think going to a different team is always going to be completely different from where you are before.
“There was probably a bit of nerves and excitement in there as well but it has been good to just get on the pitch and get rid of those nerves as soon as possible and prepare for the games.
The centre-back is currently away representing her country as Scotland gear up for their final two UEFA European Championship qualifiers starting with Slovakia tomorrow evening, as she wants the side to build on their strong position to finish top of the group.
She added: “I am looking forward to it, it will be a good eight or nine days away with two games.
“Obviously we had good results last time out so we are looking to just build on that and get another few good results and finish top of the table.
“I think it is difficult the time of the camp but it is good that we have been in for a week or two before to prepare for going away.
“It was the right decision to come back in early enough to prepare for that, all the girls are ready and sorted for going away.
“I think being away with the girls that are at Rangers as well will help me bond with them being away and help me settle as quickly as I can when I am away as well, but coming back in it will be nice to get back with all the girls.”
