MAY CRUFT is hoping to continue improving as a player after signing her first professional contract with the club.
At just 15 years of age, the youngster has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Rangers, and will now be permanently part of the first-team squad ahead of the 2025-26 season getting underway.
Speaking to RangersTV after becoming a full-time footballer having been involved within the squad over the past 12 months, the midfielder commented: “I think the last year of playing with really top level players has definitely helped me.
“Like seeing them day in day out and training against them and playing with them has definitely helped my career.
“I am really grateful to have got those opportunities, playing minutes with the first-team at that age and how young I was.
“I think that has definitely helped my confidence and to trust myself and my ability.
“For me personally, is just to keep working hard in training. Trying to improve every day, try get more minutes under my belt and just keep trying to help the team and contribute as best as I can.”

Having had to balance her school education with football and featuring in a Scottish Cup semi-final already in her early career, the youngster has had quite the whirlwind start to her journey in the game. Joining the academy at the club she spoke of the standout experiences she had had during her time as a Ger so far.
She added: “I joined the academy when I was 13 and I am obviously really grateful for all the experiences I got from that.
“That is probably a big factor in why I have wanted to sign and why I have got the contract is due to the academy.
“At youth level we won the cup which was really good and we went to the Mallorca Cup as well, which was last year I think.
“We got to play against some good teams in Spain and stuff so all those sorts of experiences really help like playing abroad and things like that.
“Aberdeen game? It was great, obviously playing at Hampden is something that you dream of.
“That was great and in a semi-final as well, it was a big game and I was nervous but to be able to play and get minutes, I think I played the full 90 so that was a great experience for me in such a big stadium as well.
“Last year I was training a few times a week here and still going to school. It is obviously a juggle but I enjoy it and I am happy to be able to play football as well.”
