McAllister Confirms No New Injury Concerns For Staggies

RANGERS have no new injury concerns going into Sunday’s Scottish Premiership encounter with Ross County.

The Light Blues have come through last night’s match with Brondby in Copenhagen unscathed, with the added bonus of getting Ryan Kent back in action after his injury lay-off.

Ryan Jack could also be involved at some stage on Sunday, and assistant boss, Gary McAllister, said: “We are all good, and the beauty is, Kenty has got those minutes under his belt, so we go into Sunday with a full squad.

“Jacko is getting closer and closer which is another boost for the squad as well and we look forward to getting back to Ibrox.”

County got their first win of the season in their last match nine days ago, impressively netting five without reply at Dundee.

That should serve as a warning to the Light Blues, with McAllister continuing: “We take that on board and it was a surprising result with it being their only win of the season.

"I know Malky really well and they will come to Ibrox and try to frustrate us and be organised and go all guns-blazing.

“What we have got to guard against is losing this first goal – it seems to be a wee bit of a habit at the minute so if we can get our noses in front early, then we have got to go and try to score some goals.

“It is about sticking to the gameplan, and by that, our game is based around keeping good possession of the football.

"Getting to five, 10, 15 passes and then moving forward suits us, and I think that is something to really build on from the Motherwell game as I thought for big parts of that in the second half, we controlled possession and the way we actually chose to go forward at the right moments was perfect.”

Rangers will also mark Remembrance at Sunday’s match, and McAllister added: “We are very proud of Remembrance Day at Ibrox and we fully support it.

"The way our fans appreciate it and the way our players go out and produce on that day is always a nice thing to see.”
