RANGERS have had a number of players involved in international duty over the past seven days with several UEFA European Championship qualifiers and friendly matches taking place.

Jenna Fife, Nicola Docherty, Chelsea Cornet, Jane Ross, Brogan Hay and Sarah Ewens – Scotland
• Serbia 0-0 Scotland – UEFA European Championship Qualifier
• Scotland 1-0 Slovakia – UEFA European Championship Qualifier
Six Rangers players were involved in the Scotland squad as they began their UEFA European Championship qualifying campaign.
The Scots picked up four points from a possible six in an unbeaten start in the final international break of the season.
There were starts on Friday evening for Gers captain Nicola Dochery and Chelsea Cornet before a special moment was to arrive for Sarah Ewens, who earned her first cap for her country as a second half substitute, with fellow striker Jane Ross also earning minutes in the game as they played out a goalless draw with Serbia.
Pedro Martinez Losa’s team then claimed a narrow 1-0 win in front of the Hampden faithful last night thanks to a Sophie Howard goal, picking up three vital points in the group as they prepare to next return to action at the end of May.
Megan Bell – Northern Ireland

Megan featured in the Northern Ireland camp as they also got their campaign off to an unbeaten start.
The midfielder was introduced as a substitute in the opening fixture as they played a draw at home to Malta before an impressive performance was to follow for the 22-year-old.
Tanya Oxtoby’s were 3-1 winners over Bosnia & Herzegovina with the Hearts loanee coming up with the crucial second goal to put her side back in front as well as being named player of the match.
Rachel Rowe – Wales

• Kosovo 0-6 Wales – UEFA European Championship Qualifier
Rachel continued her impressive club form with three goals in the two games for her country as they began their Euro qualifiers with back-to-back victories.
New manager Rhian Wilkinson made her bow in charge making the best possible start as they were dominant 4-0 winners over Croatia on Friday, with the Gers midfielder finding the target on the night.
Another commanding victory was to follow yesterday with Rowe finding the back of the net on a further two occasions as the Welsh rounded off the break in style.
Victoria Esson – New Zealand
• New Zealand 4-0 Thailand – International Friendly
• New Zealand 0-0 Thailand – International Friendly
Victoria was part of the New Zealand squad that played out a pair of friendly matches against Thailand in the break.
The Football Ferns were back playing in their home country for the first time since co-hosting last year’s FIFA World Cup finals, winning comfortably in the first meeting before playing out a goalless draw, with Esson featuring in the second match keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Several Rangers youngsters were involved as the young Scots enjoyed a vastly impressive camp with three successive UEFA European Championship qualifying wins as they were promoted to League A.
Two Jodi McLeary strikes as well as a Mia McAulay goal helped the side to a dominant 10-0 win over Liechtenstein with Eilidh Austin also starting the game.
McAulay was again on hand to contribute as she doubled the advantage on Saturday afternoon with a victory over Cyprus.
The pair were also crucial in the Scots winning the third match yesterday afternoon over Albania with captain McLeary opening the scoring with a fantastic strike from range with Mia again rounding off the scoring in a 3-0 win. There was also involvement in the matches for the likes of Mason Clark, Kayla Jardine, Jenna Ferguson and Georgia Gray.
