STEVEN GERRARD has named seven changes to his Rangers side for tonight’s match with Standard Liege – but it’s the same side which performed so well here at Ibrox against Benfica a week ago.

Gers will qualify for the knockout stages with a game to spare if they are successful tonight – but know they face a tough challenge against Liege.

Allan McGregor is between the sticks for Gers tonight for his 83rd European appearance for the club – breaking Barry Ferguson’s all-time record – and in front of him will be James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun and Borna Barisic.

Scott Arfield, Steven Davis and Glen Kamara are in midfield, while up front, Kemar Roofe and Ryan Kent will support Alfredo Morelos.

It’s a strong-looking bench for the manager tonight -Jon McLaughlin, Calvin Bassey, Ianis Hagi, Cedric Itten, Bongani Zungu, Nathan Patterson, Joe Aribo, Brandon Barker, Greg Stewart, Jamie Barjonas, Ciaran Dickson and Leon King are all there for Gers.
