ALFREDO MORELOS has been named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for December.
The Colombian international striker was in superb form, netting four goals as the Light Blues won all five of their league matches last month.
He kicked off the month by showing superb determination to net against Dundee, before opening the scoring eight days later at Tynecastle as Gers secured an excellent win over Hearts.
He then got the breakthrough goal against St Johnstone before rounding off his spree with the clincher in the Boxing Day win over St Mirren.
Manager, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, praised the frontman and said: "He has done well since I came in and he has scored some important goals that have been important for the team.
"He is working hard and his attitude has been really good, and he has been a positive factor for the team."
