The HNC in Sports Coaching, in partnership with New College Lanarkshire, gives learners the knowledge and skills necessary to work as professionals within Football or the wider discipline of sports development and coaching.
New College Lanarkshire lecturers will deliver the programme's academic content while students can utilise the Rangers Online Academy, guest sessions, and speakers as well as work placement opportunities within Rangers Soccer Academy. This will be reinforced with visits to the Rangers Training Centre and Ibrox Stadium.

Rangers Soccer Academy has partnered with Universal Centre of Sport to enable students and student athletes to access University age provision within the inspirational environment of Ibrox Stadium.
UCS employed lecturers will deliver the academic content of the programme whilst students can utilise the club’s facilities and gain practical work experience across areas such as coaching, scouting, match analysis and life as an athlete.
Year 1 – Certificate in Higher Education
Year 2 – Diploma in Higher Education
Year 3 – Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Year 4 – Bachelor of Science with Honours
