RANGERS Academy can today confirm Coben Fergusson has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The exciting winger, 16, has signed a deal until the summer of 2029, progressing through the Academy from a young age and playing a prominent role in the Under-17s’ league success last season
He also appeared for our Under-19s in various competitions, scoring his first goal for the side in the 5-1 victory away to Dundee United in the penultimate game of the season.
Fergusson has represented Scotland at youth level and was recently capped by the Under-16s where he netted in a victory over Cyprus.
Interim Head of Academy, David McCallum, commented: “We are thrilled to see Coben commit his future to the club by signing his first professional contract.
“He has a fantastic attitude towards his development, is eager to learn and consistently demonstrates the desire to push himself every day.
“I’m sure this is a proud day for Coben and his family, and we're looking forward to supporting him as he continues to develop both as a player and as a person.”
