IANIS Hagi believes Rangers put in a full 90 minute performance in the 3-0 win over Aberdeen.
Hamza Igamane opened the scoring on 13 minutes with his seventh goal in six games before late goals from subs Leon Balogun and Cyriel Dessers.
The Romanian international was heavily involved and hit the crossbar as Philippe Clement’s side had 29 shots on goal against the Dons.
Now Hagi hopes the squad can build on the performance by doing it consistently.
Speaking to RangersTV, he said: “I think we owed a full 90 minute performance to the fans.
“That was our focus, we have to be more consistent during 90 minutes and that’s what we did today.
“It is a game where we can take a lot of positives and hopefully keep this going.
“I think everyone did their job, the strikers were really sharp around the box, myself creating opportunities in front of me. Vaclav doing his thing, so it feels good.
“When you put in a 90 minute performance that is positive and what we are focusing on.
“I obviously enjoy taking chances from outside the box, but the most positive thing for me is creating for the team and I think that is my job and what I want to do moving forward.
“I have always done that, and that is always my first instinct. Hopefully in the next game, maybe we can put more chances in the net and I can get a few more assists.”
The victory means the Light Blues kept up their unbeaten domestic home record as they made it 34 points from a possible 36 as they notched another clean sheet.
Hagi praised the entire squad for their work rate to nullify the threat of the Pittodrie side.
He added: “You win games when you get clean sheets.
“We create a lot up front and as a team we need to keep more clean sheets, so that is a really big positive tonight.
“Moving forward, being consistent, means creating but also keeping clean sheets.”
