Jay Hogarth Signs New Three-Year Deal

RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that Jay Hogarth has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

Hogarth has committed his future to Rangers until the summer of 2025 after putting pen to paper on a new deal.

The 18-year-old Light Blue had a superb season last year for David McCallum’s B team in their inaugural Lowland League campaign and made massive contributions to the UEFA Youth League and Scotland U19s squad.

Hogarth also trained regularly with Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side and was featured on the bench during their Europa League run to Seville.

The youngster will head out on a season-long loan with Alloa for the 2022/23 campaign as he aims to continue his development with the League One side.

Head of Academy Goalkeeping, Graeme Smith, said: “We are delighted that Jay has extended his stay at Rangers for a further three years.

“Jay has continued to make fantastic progress during his time at the club and has worked incredibly hard from becoming part of our Academy at the age of ten years old.

“As part of our Boclair school programme and now our Professional Development Phase he has continued to rise to each challenge that we have set him.

“He was a key player for us last year in our inaugural Lowland League campaign, as well as our continued progress in the UEFA Youth League and at an international level with the Scotland U19 squad.

“The opportunity to play with Alloa in League One for the season ahead will provide the next challenge for him to learn as he continues his development through the pathway that we have planned for Jay.”
