RANGERS Football Club are delighted to announce that Nicola Docherty has signed a contract extension with the club.
Docherty, who was named Women’s Player of the Year for the 2021/22 campaign, has signed a two-year extension.
Speaking after signing her contract, Docherty said: “I am delighted to get it over the line, it is a club that I have supported my whole life and to say that I have signed an extra two years at the club is massive for me and obviously my family.
“The game has developed so much, from my first time with the club to where we are now and the steps the club has taken has been massive and you can really see that in our play and the way we handled this season.”
Malky Thomson added: “Nicola has been a hugely important player for us and I am delighted she has signed this contract extension. Her consistent performances, experience and defensive and attacking qualities were important for us in our league winning campaign and we now look to continue to build on that next season.”
