Gers Take Part in Virtual Christmas Hospital Visit

THE Rangers first-team today took part in a virtual hospital visit to spread some festive cheer among patients of Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children.

Donning their Rangers Christmas jumpers, the Light Blues were only too happy to take time out of their busy fixture schedule to chat this afternoon, with the Rangers Charity Foundation also donating an outstanding £10,000 to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

The donation will help fund Christmas decorations to brighten up the hospital, as well as a specialist piece of equipment called a BiliCocoon which is used to treat jaundiced newborns.

The Rangers Charity Foundation trees, which the charity have sponsored, are also all around the hospital along with special Foundation baubles.

The donation to the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity is just one of the Foundation’s Christmas activities taking place throughout the festive season.

Recently, the charity welcomed 90 older people from the local community to Ibrox for its Festive Friends Christmas lunch, and held a special Christmas party for children, which included a visit from Santa, food and drinks and a magic show.
