Abdallah Sima Wins Scottish Premiership Player of the Month

RANGERS forward Abdallah Sima has been named Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for October.

It was a fantastic month for the 22-year-old as he made a huge impact as the Light Blues picked up maximum points from their three league fixtures.

The on-loan Brighton man started October with a goal in the 3-0 victory over St Mirren, before netting a double in Philippe Clement’s first match in charge in a 4-0 win against Hibernian at Ibrox.

It’s been an impressive start to life in Scotland for Sima who, across all competitions, has found the target 10 times in 13 starts this season.

Speaking on receiving the award, Sima said: “I am extremely proud to receive this award and be named the Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for October.

"That is thanks to my teammates and the staff here who support me to continue to reach my best level.”
