RANGERS Academy can today confirm Alexander Smith has joined League One side East Kilbride on a season-long loan.
The attacking midfielder, 18, spent the second half of last season on loan at Dumbarton, where he made a huge impression, and he will now make the step up a division to the newly promoted side.
Smith joined the Sons in February and registered four goal contributions in just eight appearances as they secured safety last term.
