RANGERS will find out their UEFA Champions League opponents later this afternoon as the draws for the first and second qualifying rounds will take place in Nyon, Switzerland, at 2pm UK time.
It will be the Light Blues’ third experience of featuring in the European competition, having finished as runners-up in the SPWPL standings last season, having most recently faced off against Arsenal in September 2024 and losing out at the play-off stage to Benfica in 2022.
The Gers will enter the second qualifying round and are unseeded, through the league path, with teams drawn into knock-out mini-tournaments. These will be played at a single venue, with the hosts to be determined following the conclusion of the draw.
Semi-final matches for the second qualifying round are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 5, with the winners of the fixtures contesting a final to progress to the third and final qualifying round on Saturday, August 8. The losers of the last four clashes will also face off in a third-place play-off match on the same day, with potential Europa Cup spots also still up for grabs.
16 teams will be involved in the league path, with them being divided into groups of both seeded and unseeded, determined by coefficient rankings.
The draw will be streamed live on the UEFA Women’s Champions League website live this afternoon.
