Rangers host Montrose tomorrow afternoon at Broadwood as they look to keep their place at the top of the standings heading into the international break.
Speaking to RangersTV ahead of the clash in Cumbernauld, she commented: “I think as a group we are always trying to raise our standards and we are getting pushed every day in training.
“That is coming from the staff which is raising our standards as players. I think it is important that we don't just settle for how we are, we always want to keep improving.
“As a group we know what standards we aim for each week. It doesn't matter who we are playing, we always want to perform. As a group as well it is very competitive as a squad. Everyone is trying to perform to the best of their ability.
“Just as a group it is just important that we are getting the three points but also we are in a good position and feeling confident coming back from the international break.
The winger has reflected on the side’s victory over Glasgow City in their last outing and believes the victory could be vital come the end of the season.
She continued: “It was a really important three points for us. I think as a group we were really pleased with how the game went for us. We had a really good week of training and I felt we brought that into the game. It was a good day all round.
“That is the games when you are on the sidelines and stuff that you want to be a part of. It is such a good feeling getting the win, obviously there is more pressure to it but when you do get that three points it is a satisfying feeling.
“There is a lot of games to play, but you want to try get as many points as possible especially early on. As a group our aim is to win every single game. It is a real positive so far and just looking ahead it is going to be important come the end of the season.
The 27-year-old will be targeting a third start in a row after she made a full return from injury recently and says the team have to be ready for however their Sunday opponents approach the game.
She added: "Will their approach be different and that might see them sit in a bit more? Yes they could, but also the last time we played them they did come out and try press us.
“They have had a good few positive results against teams in the top half. They will be up for it and they will be giving us a good challenge.
“It was hard being out but I knew I was always wanting to try get back in to the team. I have just been working hard so to get those two starts was rewarding. I just need to try and kick on again from here.”
