The midfielder made the switch to Glasgow from Brighton & Hove Albion on transfer deadline day in a deal until the summer of 2024.
Speaking to RangersTV after sealing the move the 20-year-old says conversations with Jo Potter swayed her decision to move away from home for the first time and admits she can’t wait for the season ahead.
She said: “It is a massive opportunity, I can't wait, a brand new league, new players and team. It is a great opportunity for me.
“From the first conversation with Jo I knew it was the right place for me. Speaking to coaches at Brighton and other teammates they all speak really highly of Jo as well.
“It was definitely a big decision to make. I think when Rangers was a first option I sort of immediately thought not just because of the distance from home, but after speaking to Jo I knew it was right.”
The youngster has appeared in the Women’s Super League for her parent club and she feels the experience of playing in that will help her to make an impact as she offered an insight on what she can bring to the Light Blues.
She continued: “I think the WSL is potentially the biggest league in women's football. The quality of players and the type of players it attracts there are huge, it is definitely an experience that I can bring to Rangers here. I know some of the other girls have competed in the WSL as well so that is something that they can bring and help improve this team.
“I play as a central midfielder; I quite like the box-to-box role. I think I can use my body quite well to protect the ball and switch play, I am hoping to assist more and get some more goals.”
The 20-year-old has commented on the Gers’ start to the new campaign and says she hopes the team can challenge for trophies during her time in Glasgow.
She added: “I think the club is really ambitious and obviously we want to do really well in the cup competitions and win the league, that would be a great experience. Obviously at Brighton yes we strive for it but it is very challenging for us and I think Rangers have a real great setup here and really strive to win the league so I can't wait to be a part of that.”
