Rangers will travel to take on the French side in their fifth match of the league phase of the competition this season as they look to take a step closer to qualification with a positive result.
Speaking to the official Rangers website to preview the clash, the midfielder said: “The run has got to start now, it has got to start quick and there has got to be less talking and more action on the pitch.
“It is the perfect opportunity for us obviously playing Thursday and Sunday then another midweek game next week as well so it is a busy schedule ahead and one we need to take advantage of.
“It was obviously a disappointment at the weekend, we all know that but it is a perfect opportunity for us to try and turn things around and start to build consistency.”
The 22-year-old says the squad can take good parts from their previous away showings in Europe this league phase so far, with a victory over Malmo and a point against Olympiacos to show for their outings on the road.
He continued: “We get the confidence from the last few we have played in Europe so we will bring that with us.
“We have got a few to look forward too as well after this one so it's one game at a time, this is our opportunity to turn things and make amends from the weekend and we will go over and do a good job hopefully.
“It is hard to tell how it will go from now but we have done our homework on them and we know what they are going to be like.
“They will be a good side obviously the top league over there as well so it is a good opportunity for us to go over and show what we are all about.”
The Gers number eight, who is enjoying his second taste of European competition this campaign having featured in the Europa Conference League last season, says he enjoys the challenge of playing against top opposition.
He added: “It has been a good experience, I obviously had bits of it at Aberdeen but it has been brilliant.
“I like testing myself against the best and it is a great opportunity to do that over there and as a team we have really thrived off it as well and hopefully that continues and we get ourselves in a better position to qualify.
“I think it is hard to put to finger on what we have done in Europe differently.
“Teams are playing different ways etc but I think it is an opportunity we can take confidence out of the games we have played away from home and it is another opportunity for us to get three points and push closer to qualification.”
