John Lundstram’s first-half goal was the difference in the 1-0 win and Beale was delighted to head back down the A9 with a clean sheet and all three points.
Speaking to RangersTV at full-time, he said: “There was some good play and we looked a little bit stronger defensively. We have kept Jon [McLaughlin] pretty much clean for the whole game apart from the one save in the first-half.
“I thought we were wasteful at times when we got into good areas and we didn't reward the end of our good play but it has been the end of a long week. We have had two long travels and I am just delighted to get the clean sheet which is something I asked for and to get out with three points and keep moving forward.
“A clean sheet is the bedrock of any good team, it was the bedrock of our team when we were winning and doing well both domestically and in Europe so it is important that we are able to keep clean sheets.
"Jon has come in after a frustrating spell out of the team and I thought he did really well. He had a really important save early in the game but I thought we were in control the whole match.
“I would like to see us take a second chance. We had plenty of opportunities in the second-half to do that and unfortunately we couldn't tonight.
The manager praised goalscorer John Lundstram and the build-up to the crucial strike in Dingwall.
He continued: “I think there were 10 or 12 passes in the move which shows we are being more composed. We are actually passing and running and it was a really good goal.
“John was frustrated to miss out the other day and he had to take an injection after the rib injury against Hibs but that is what he does. He comes in tonight and the big players perform for you and he is a leader in our team.”
With victories over Hibs, Aberdeen and Ross County in the past week, Beale hopes the squad can continue to build on these heading into the next period of fixtures after Christmas.
He added: “When you come in you are obviously assessing where the group is at. We have had a lot of injuries and we have used a lot of personnel in the three games and we have got nine points.
“That was the remit at the start of this period and now we can have a little breather, enjoy Christmas and go again on the 28th and it just sets up the next couple of weeks really well.”
