The 24-year-old is in the squad for tomorrow’s visit of St Johnstone, alongside new signing Todd Cantwell, and Beale feels the addition of both players can bring variety on the pitch.
Speaking to the media at this afternoon’s pre-match press conference, he said: “It was a year last week that he suffered the injury, so I am delighted to have him back and he looks really sharp. He is not ready to play 90 minutes but to have Todd Cantwell and Ianis Hagi in the squad I am a really happy man.
“Ianis is a young man with his best days in front of him, he is quite a special person around the building and as a professional. He is someone that we all love here at Rangers so to have him back is massive.
“Todd has also trained and in his first three days he has made a big impression on everybody, so we feel in a really strong place with those two available to us. It offers us variety, it keeps the other managers that are playing against us guessing and it certainly turns the dial up in terms of competition in those final third places.”
The manager is looking forward to being back at Ibrox for tomorrow’s match and hopes the squad can continue to build on recent results.
He added: “Results-wise things are good and as we get players back I am expecting performances to improve. It was interesting because the analysts said the game against Kilmarnock was the most passes and most possession that Rangers have had this season. I wouldn't have thought that after the game, so it just shows we are not a million miles away.
“We have played six out of nine games away from Ibrox and now we have got two out of the next three at home. I am delighted that we are back home, it will be a good surface for us to play on and I am expecting us to put in some good performances.”
