The manager suffered his first defeat as manager since taking over in December last Sunday having gone unbeaten in 14 games but hopes his team can respond with a positive result as they host the Ayrshire side.
Speaking to the media in the press conference ahead of the game the Gers boss is expecting Saturday’s opposition to make the contest tough for his side but has encouraged them to return to winning ways having won the nine games prior.
He said: “It is really important to show a response and to win, we have three games in a week, it is a very interesting one.
“Kilmarnock at home who are fighting for their lives down there, we know Derek [McInnes] will make it really tough, he has an insight into our club, so he knows how our crowd are going to react to the start of this game, and I think they will make it difficult, we need to get three points however we get it.”
The Light Blues manager knows how important it is to go on a run once again and has encouraged his side to do just that in the lead up to the next international break at the end of the month.
He continued: “We go away to Easter Road - Lee [Johnson] has got them [Hibernian] in good form and then we have an important cup game at home, it is important that we show a strong response now in these four games including Motherwell away heading into the international break.
“We need to prove that the weekend was a cup final against a strong rival and we fell short, but the show goes on and we are moving forward.”
Beale has provided a positive update on the injury situation following last weekend’s game with more players available for Saturday’s match and the games to follow.
He added: “There are no new injuries. John Souttar returned to the squad and Ridvan Yilmaz probably needs to play a reserve game with a view to coming back in either midweek or for the Raith Rovers Scottish Cup game as well as Rabbi Matondo.
“We actually had 24 players fit and training last week. It is nice to have everybody back out there fit and moving forward, anybody that played in the game last week, there are a couple of aches and pains but nothing that is going to stop people being available.”
